Liptovská Osada (Hungarian: Oszada) is a village and municipality in Ružomberok District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1649.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 714 metres (2,343 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 50.19 km² (19.38 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 1564 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 1617 people by ethnicity 1538 as Slovak, 80 as Not found out, 9 as Other, 8 as Czech, 3 as Russian, 2 as Italian, 2 as German, 1 as Rusyn and 1 as Moravian.
