This Morane-Saulnier H, the only example in the Swiss army, was requisitioned from pilot E.Audemars in August 1914. Nicknamed "Héléne", it bore the registration number 24. It was used for pilot training until 1919. The building is a typical farmhouse in the Haut-Jura. This airfield must be on an improvised site which can be found either in the Haut-Jura in the canton of Neuchâtel, or in the Franches-Montagnes (canton of Jura), or in the Bernese Jura. This photo was probably taken at the beginning of the war.
