The first dozens of paragraphs go on without giving any tangible clue about what the show is about. It has expressions like "soap opera" and "revolves around a family", which aren't helping. On top of that, the first paragraph is filled with numerous dates that are overwhelming to read. I think it needs a sentence that portrays a general idea on the plot.
