Kelly Passa!?

Can someone please double check me that the spelling of the Drag Queen in DR España ends in an exclamation point followed by a question mark rather than the other way around? I'm pretty sure it is true, but the Spanish language page had them mostly in the other order (question mark followed by exclamation point). All of this is actually sort of surprising to me since I expected that a pun in Spanish would use the inverted signs at the beginning as well.Naraht (talk) 01:48, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Potential topics

WikiProject Lady Gaga has Wikipedia:WikiProject_Lady_Gaga#Potential_topics.

I think it'd be great if WikiProject Drag Race had a page with potential topics. I don't think any would be close to reaching Good status yet, but no harm in setting goals!

Would any project members be interested in this? ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:30, 11 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I was definitely thinking about this for the season 17 episodes. We could also do contestants, season 3 contestants have some Good articles. Also, under the editing tab there's two potential topics I left some time ago. But yeah, I'm interested. Is it Juan? (talk) 04:20, 12 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oh! I have that page on my watchlist but I guess forgot some potential topics lived there. Thanks for the reminder! I'd love to many more topics added to the page, seems like a great way to track progress. ---Another Believer (Talk) 04:32, 12 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Snatch Game episodes

Resurrecting an old thread:

There are many episodes called "Snatch Game". As far as I can tell, if we were to create episodes for individual episodes, here's what the pages would need to be called in order to comply with disambiguation rules: This assumes the episode titles are correct at List of RuPaul's Drag Race episodes. I've found a couple errors, so double checking is required.

Updates:

Sharing in case any project members are interested in helping to create episode articles. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:01, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I've created Snatch Game (disambiguation) as a disambiguation page. ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:57, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I've also created Category:Snatch Game. ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:54, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
And I added the Catsorts for both the articles and the redirects above.Naraht (talk) 18:00, 23 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I think sorting by episode number makes sense for now, since all entries are for the same (U.S.) series, but if any articles are created for other series within the franchise we might revert to sorting alphabetically. ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:02, 23 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Putting them in a subcat *might* make sense or some of the abbreviations for the Franchises we've used. Not sure of any other ideas that make sense for Wikipedia.Naraht (talk) 23:20, 23 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Queens with Last, First Defaultsorts.

Right now there are 93 DR Queens with the DEFAULTSORT being Last, First (or the closest approximation). My question is should the DEFAULTSORT be changed on these to the Drag Name or not. Most only have the drag name with the reversal for the RPDR contestant category, but other drag related cats should either be added or the DEFAULTSORT should be changed.Naraht (talk) 22:05, 24 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Entries should be sorted on a case by case basis, but in general most drag performers should be sorted by first name. This is because most "last names" are not true last names. For example, we wouldn't want to sort Detox Icunt as "Icunt" or Kim Chi (drag queen) as "Chi". However, there are exceptions: see Derrick Barry and Kameron Michaels. No matter how many times I sort by full name, too often passer-by editors change the sort to last name for most biographies (probably not knowing the subject is a drag name). I've asked about the possibility of somehow flagging or suppressing the sort function (both for categories and for WikiProject Biography templates), but nothing has really come to fruition as a solid solution, unfortunately and as far as I know. So it's manually correcting over and over. ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:15, 24 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Grand Finale (RuPaul's Drag Race season 11)

Question re: Snatch Game (RuPaul's Drag Race season 13)

Unresolved

In another section above, I had assumed the season 13 with Snatch Game was called "The Snatch Game", based on current listings on Wikipedia pages. But, sources seem to refer to the episode as simply "Snatch Game", which is consistent with most other seasons. So, I created the page at Snatch Game (RuPaul's Drag Race season 13). Does anyone know for sure if the season 13 episode was called "Snatch Game" or "The Snatch Game"? Once we're sure, we should make sure all pages reflect the correct title. ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:36, 7 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
