Could someone take a look at Quranic cosmology please? One of those niche articles where I know what's wrong but can only explain it to an editor in a domain-general way, which I don't feel will help. Remsense ‥ 论 12:02, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Remsense: Quranic cosmology is an affected title, maybe move to Quranic cosmos...a less arcance title? Tiny Particle (talk) 19:12, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
- I'm not entirely following. Cosmology is vocabulary with a specific meaning. Remsense ‥ 论 12:03, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
I wish I didn't feel the need to post a thread like this, but over the past year-plus the articles Quran and Sharia have each undergone dramatic renovations by a single user, with the word count of the latter in particular ballooning further past what we generally consider to be ideal for our most nuanced articles. I cannot help but feel like much of their hard work has not been resulted in improvements for we what we intend to be well-rounded encyclopedia articles for an international English-speaking readership. I cannot be of proper assistance, but I hope someone who could be can take a look and discern what might have to be reworked or returned to its previous state for two of our most important articles. Thanks. Remsense ‥ 论 12:08, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
- Currently I still have a few articles in mind I work on when I have time, but I would try to read over the articles in a while in sha'allah. VenusFeuerFalle (talk) 19:15, 11 January 2025 (UTC)

The article Nasiruddin Sailani Badesha has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unreferenced and unimproved for 15 years. No reliable sources online Google news, newspapers, books, or scholar. Not enough information to merge or redirect. No other language's article exists from which to translate.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bearian (talk) 11:49, 28 January 2025 (UTC)

List of your articles that are in Category:Harv and Sfn no-target errors, 2025
Currently, this project has about ~80 articles in need of some reference cleanup. Basically, some short references created via {{sfn}} and {{harvnb}} and similar templates have missing full citations or have some other problems. This is usually caused by templates misuse or by copy-pasting a short reference from another article without adding the full reference, or because a full reference is not making use of citation templates like {{cite book}} (see Help:CS1) or {{citation}} (see Help:CS2). To easily see which citation is in need of cleanup, you can check these instructions to enable error messages (Svick's script is the simplest to use, but Trappist the monk's script is a bit more refined if you're interested in doing deeper cleanup). See also how to resolve issues.

If you could add the full references to those article/fix the problem references, that would be great. Again, the easiest way to deal with those is to install Svick's script per these instructions. If after installing the script, you do not see an error, that means it was either taken care of, or was a false positive, and you don't need to do anything else. Using the "crescent and star" symbol instead of the "Allah" word to represent Islam in the "Islam" Template
The crescent and star is a widely used symbol of Islam worldwide while the word "Allah" is just the Arabic word for God, not a symbol of Islam. So, the crescent and star symbol should be used instead of Allah word to represent Islam in the "Islam" Template. - AimanAbir18plus (talk) 10:05, 28 February 2025 (UTC)
- @AimanAbir18plus Crescent moon was the symbol of ottomon Empire and it is good to use with Sunni Islam rather than Islam because (in sunni Islam the political authority hold by the calif, but in Shia Islam hold by imams). Islam has two branches from its initial stage Shia & Sunni, that's why in Wikipedia we use Arabic letter Allah for depiction of religion of Islam,(but in reality Islam does not have any symbol) I hope I give you a good explanation. 獅眠洞 (talk) 00:29, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
- I was explaining you that if you use crescent moon to depict Islam it will also include both Shia and Sunni. 獅眠洞 (talk) 01:01, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
