This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Stations. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
- Adding a new AfD discussion
- Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
- and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
- You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Stations|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
- There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
- Removing a closed AfD discussion
- Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
- Other types of discussions
- You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Stations. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.
- Further information
- For further information see Wikipedia's deletion policy and WP:AfD for general information about Articles for Deletion, including a list of article deletions sorted by day of nomination.

Stations
- North Easton station (MBTA) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View AfD | edits since nomination)
- (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
There have been no recent updates or concrete developments regarding the MBTA's Phase 2 of the South Coast Rail project, which was expected to restore service to North Easton but remains without a definitive timeline as of 2025. Given the absence of new information, maintaining a separate article for North Easton station (MBTA) seems unnecessary and no longer relevant at this time, given this article relies on a single source based on preliminary design proposals. Additionally, the distinction between North Easton station (MBTA) and North Easton station is unclear as both cover overlapping historical and transit-related content.
The relevant details of North Easton station (MBTA) should be effectively consolidated and merged into the broader North Easton station article for clarity and ease of access.

- Automated comment: This AfD was not correctly transcluded to the log (step 3). I have transcluded it to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Log/2025 March 6. —cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 22:30, 6 March 2025 (UTC)

Comment: I don't have strong feelings as to whether this should be an article or a redirect. Unlike the other in-limbo stations proposed with this project phase, there was never a historical station located here. This absolutely should not be merged into North Easton station, as that is a completely separate location several miles away with its own history. If this article is deleted, then South Coast Rail would be the correct location for the redirect target. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 23:04, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
- I second South Coast Rail as the redirect target, with added context that references the location of the proposed North Easton station (MBTA) within the Phase 2 section of the SCR article. OldPalChummus (talk) 18:48, 7 March 2025 (UTC)
