This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Mexico. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
- Adding a new AfD discussion
- Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
- and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
- You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Mexico|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
- There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
- Removing a closed AfD discussion
- Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
- Other types of discussions
- You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Mexico. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.
- Further information
- For further information see Wikipedia's deletion policy and WP:AfD for general information about Articles for Deletion, including a list of article deletions sorted by day of nomination.
This list is also part of the larger list of deletion debates related to Americas.

Per WP:GNG and WP:NORG – From what I've been able to find, none of the sources passed WP:SIRS since none of them contained any significant coverage of the airline itself and only contained more or less passing/trivial mentions of the airline. Aviationwikiflight (talk) 16:13, 26 February 2025 (UTC)

- Keep -more of a procedural vote because Im the article creator. But Im working at finding more sources. Jeanette, babe, join me at my fiesta Martin (aqui?) 20:30, 26 February 2025 (UTC)
- The source that you recently added doesn't meet WP:SIRS in establishing the airline's notability as there's no significant coverage of the airline itself. Aviationwikiflight (talk) 12:30, 27 February 2025 (UTC)

- Redirect - in the absense of coverage of RSes to establish N, List of defunct airlines of Mexico would be a plausible redirect target. - The Bushranger One ping only 05:34, 28 February 2025 (UTC)

I didn't find significant coverages about the subject and it fails WP:GNG Dam222 🌋 (talk) 10:14, 26 February 2025 (UTC)

- Keep - A google search shows that Narvarte coached several basketball teams, among them Argentine giants Boca Juniors, Peñarol of Mar del Plata, Mexicans Dorados de Chihuahua, Chileans Deportes Castro, and was the assistent coach of Argentina's National Team, which significantly won the bronze in Beijing 2008. This is the link to a Chihuahua's newspaper article in PressReader.com during his time with Dorados with Narvarte's biographical info: Narvarte es entrenador que dirigirá a los Dorados - Daniel Coronado (30 May 2024). --Darius (talk) 20:59, 26 February 2025 (UTC)
- Delete - There's a lack of significant press coverage WP:SIGCOV on the topic, and there are no multiple sources for the article. Hellorld4 (talk) 22:23, 26 February 2025 (UTC)
- Keep - Narvarte is an historical basketball figure in Latin America, he has a very long and successful career, being part of the most important teams of Argentina, Mexico, Chile and Venezuela. I already added more sources to the article that clearly prove wrong the false statement that is lack of significant coverage, I’ll keep adding sources during the week. Merlyn26 (talk) 05:51, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
@Merlyn26: Add sources if you found I didn't find major reliable by simple search and the source that you cite about birth date it doesn't seem reliable. Most of the provided sources are not considered credible and some contain trivial mentions that don't meet the criteria of WP:SIGCOV. Dam222 🌋 (talk) 10:19, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
- It is obvious that you clearly didn't take the time to review the references, because what you're saying isn't entirely true, but that's okay, you have to defend your stance. Merlyn26 (talk) 14:42, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
- Keep - there are enough significant sources in the article to meet GNG. Rlendog (talk) 22:02, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
