  As someone only passingly familiar with German orthography but is familiar with English people trying to pronounce German words my experience is that this is the sort of spelling someone would attempt. Google results are always going to be incomplete for things like this as very few get written down in any indexable form - they get entered into search boxes, spell checkers and similar but if they then write about it they use the correct spelling they found after using their incorrect search term.
