No mention of it at the target. I nominated it for a db-x3 but it was reverted since it could instead/rather qualify for R3, but since this isn't recently created, though/although not plausible, I've listed it here. Intrisit (talk) 20:59, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see how "CSS" could mean "end". Nothing links to this template to give any additional indication. Gonnym (talk) 18:16, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

meta:Special:CentralAuth/Doncram appears to indicate the editor who created the redirect is deceased. The very short history of the template doesn't help me understand its purpose. Jc3s5h (talk) 18:50, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Delete as confusing. Although {{start date/doc}} includes a hidden (by CSS) duplicate, machine-readable date, there are no incoming transclusions of it being used in a way that points that out or transclusions at all. 173.206.105.221 (talk) 06:31, 27 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

it's likely that following the target's afd closing as redirect, its own redirects will eventually be automatically relinked, but until then, might as well check a few of them out again. for this one... uh... unmentioned, unnotable meme. gets surprisingly steady views (which is to say more than 0), evidently from people with good taste. google at your manhood's risk consarn (prison phone) (crime record) 17:24, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Too specific. The actual Japanese name, Chō Marisa (超魔理沙), doesn't get a lot of traction either. — Nameless(?) 07:02, 27 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I am nominating this redirect for deletion, as folk colour is not mentioned anywhere in the target article. Alternatively, it could be retargeted to an article I am unaware of that does mention it. drdr150 Yell at me Spy on me 17:06, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - Google shows that non-reliable sources use "folk color" to mean colors derived from natural materials, or from homemade dyes and paints, which often come out looking somewhat faded and/or earth-toned. Google scholar shows a fair number of articles using the term in reference to colors used and preferred by specific cultures, such as China. There might be potential for an article, or at least a section, to be written about this topic, in which case WP:RETURNTORED applies. Alternatively, this might simply be ambiguous, since reliable sources use it to refer to the colors preferred by many different cultures, and the resulting pallets being discussed can vary wildly from each other. Either way, I think this one should probably be deleted. (I'm always open to arguments otherwise) Fieari (talk) 00:01, 5 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Stop Pedophiles! Protect kiddies!

As creator: A recent statement from the DLP has clarified that contrary to media reporting, the WA party is not associated with the DLP. The current target article is therefore unsuitable since no discussion of the SPPK will be contained there. There is, at the moment, no alternative target. 5225C (talk • contributions) 10:51, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not opposed to making it its own page, but as a temporary measure maybe just redirect it to the 2025 Western Australian state election page? Totallynotarandomalt69 (talk) 11:31, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
(Alternatively if it doesn't make up enough for its own page, redirect to Democratic Labour Party (Australia, 1978)#Copycat party in Western Australia) Totallynotarandomalt69 (talk) 11:34, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I would have made a page for it but there is basically no secondary coverage of the group, and since there isn't any at this stage of the election, I doubt any will emerge. 5225C (talk • contributions) 02:50, 20 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Obviously the election campaign is still going on so I reckon it could happen, but in the meantime the redirect to Democratic Labour Party (Australia, 1978)#Copycat party in Western Australia) might help to avoid confusion Totallynotarandomalt69 (talk) 23:59, 20 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I think the redirect to the "copycat party" subsection of the DLP page is a good solution. Axver (talk) 09:57, 3 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

2025 Kabaddi World Cup (World Kabaddi Federation)

Redirect created due to misidentification of World Kabaddi with World Kabaddi Federation and subsequent page move. Later reverted after discussion at Talk:2019 Kabaddi World Cup (World Kabaddi)#Governance of global Kabaddi and World Cups. CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {C•X}) 12:02, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete or keep, whichever CX Zoom prefers: Its only potential usefulness would be to help someone who has read one of the off-Wikipedia articles that misidentified the sponsor of the World Kabaddi event or to help someone who was trying to track the history of how articles evolved on Wikipedia, but both of these are unlikely. On the other hand, its existence could add to the confusion that is inherent in trying to understand the world of kabaddi. The World Kabaddi Federation will not be holding a Kabaddi World Cup event in 2025. — BarrelProof (talk) 15:49, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

while likely a plausible typoo, "firee" as an actual word refers to someone who's been fired from their job. idk, retarget to termination of employment or something related to it (probably dismissal (employment))? consarn (prison phone) (crime record) 11:16, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Empire of Death (Doctor Who)

Retarget to Empire of Death (Doctor Who episode). The only other Doctor Who related article is Empire of Death (novel), and that is only a redirect to a list entry. It can be easily dealt with by a hatnote on the episode page (which already exists) so our readers don't need to go to the full disambiguation page if they are looking for Doctor Who related articles. --woodensuperman 08:52, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Retarget, the episode is much more well known than the novel, not to mention that the novel doesn't even have its own article. drdr150 Yell at me Spy on me 17:23, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak keep per Alex21 -- 65.92.246.77 (talk) 05:00, 28 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget as proposed by nom. This redirect includes a specific disambiguator for Doctor Who, while the current target is a DAB with half the entries being non-Doctor Who related. There are only two Doctor Who targets, and both are covered by the proposed retargeting given the existence of the hatnote. The person typing this into their search bar doesn't want DC comics or a book unrelated to Doctor Who, so let's not bother giving those options. Every Doctor Who option is covered by the retarget, and the episode is far more likely the desired destination anyway... it's the WP:PTOPIC for this narrow disambiguation. These redirects were created in 2006 and were recently nominated for G6-error. Because of their age, I thought it would be worthwhile to discuss. Some issues I notice involve the capitalization (both the acronym and "high/high school"), incomplete name for Cbc high, and the potential for disambiguation. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 05:49, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, "CBC High" is a common shortname for the school. Examples include: [1] [2][3]. -- Tavix (talk) 15:25, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Whether "CBC High" is a reasonable redirect to the school is a completely different question to whether "CBC High" should be included in this nomination. I have no opinion on the former, my opinion on the latter should be obvious from my first comment here. ディノ千?!☎ Dinoguy1000 05:18, 27 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
CBC High wouldn't have the capitalization 'issue' that the nominated redirects have. -- Tavix (talk) 20:56, 27 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That is not the only motivation for this nomination, as was spelled out in plain English in the original comment, and "CBC High" matches the other two points (incomplete name and potential for disambiguation). ディノ千?!☎ Dinoguy1000 04:26, 28 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - Per Aprzn's comment. Useful redirect, targets the correct location. Mentioned in the text as saying that the OVA covers the story of "Snow White", and Shirayuki-hime is simply the Japanese translation of "Snow White"... WP:RFOR allows this. Fieari (talk) 00:27, 5 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
