Then it becomes a question of whether or not the redirect is intuitive. For me, it was intuitive because I knew what it meant.
However, if your goal was get to me to stop being lazy and find sources, I finally have done so. Here's the breakdown:

As you can see, it is a common term for either October or Halloween at least according to these semi-reliable surface-level sources. That's good enough to me for a redirect, but it's not good enough for a mention.
