This is a list of redirects that have been proposed for deletion or other action on August 9, 2009

Wikipedia (disambiguation)

The result of the discussion was delete: currently a nonsensical redirect, and too unlikely a search term to warrant retargeting. ~ mazca talk 20:43, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This page came about when a user redirected it to Wikipedia (terminology), the terminology page itself was redirected to History of wikis, and a bot corrected the double redirect. Right now, the redirect doesn't make sense. King of 23:42, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

James Hoffmann

The result of the discussion was keep; consensus to delete an article is not necessarily consensus to avoid even redirecting that title to a relevant topic. No valid reason was given why this redirect is misleading or otherwise harmful. ~ mazca talk 20:41, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect was created against consensus immediately following a AFD to delete the article "James Hoffmann." see [1]. The creator of the redirect did so to spite the community and consensus and was one of the only people at the AFD arguing for re-direct rather than deletion.
