It's used in United Nations Fact Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict. I don't think it significantly contributes to readers' understanding of the subject, and the article already has a free image (of these weapons in use) which serves the same purpose.   It's not just the grammar, it's the content. Nothing in the FUR indicates either of the two purposes you suggested above. No part of, "to show a scene from the episode, showing River Song sharing her memories with the Doctor," involves what Alex Kingston looks like, and no part of, "to show a scene from the episode, showing River Song sharing her memories with the Doctor," is anything to do with her relationship with the Doctor.   That is rediculous. If that were true, the FUR would read "River Song sits opposite the Doctor, facing 45 degrees toward the camera, while the Doctor is shown at a 10 degree angle." Do I really need to spell out every aspect? Images are there to prevent having to do that in the first place. You don't even notice River holding her blue book holding all her memoires.
