• Comment - This is a classic music inclusionist-redirectionist debate between a classic inclusionist, User:DarklyShadows, and a classic redirectionist, User:Coolmarc. I wrote an essay for a previous debate outlining the conflict between the mostly clear special notability guidelines and the amorphous general notability guideline, User:Robert McClenon/Music Disputes. • Comment - If we agree that the song will be mentioned in the album track listing, and we agree that the song charted, why not use the relatively clear special notability guideline saying that the song charted?

• Redirect- The problem with the keep argument here is that the special notability guideline specifically says If the only coverage of a song occurs in the context of reviews of the album on which it appears, that material should be contained in the album article and an independent article about the song should not be created. The only ref that passed that is ref 3, which is a self-published source, not a reliable one. The first sentence specifically says that Songs and singles are probably notable if they have been the subject of multiple, non-trivial published works whose sources are independent.
