Wikipedia and copyright
Hello Xensheroizex! Your additions to Pornographic film have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. ☾Loriendrew☽ ☏(ring-ring) 17:32, 9 February 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Xensheroizex

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:Xensheroizex requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Yann (talk) 16:18, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Yann Please check your talk page. Please remove it from speedy deletion. Xensheroizex (talk) 16:33, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hey, @Yann
- I noticed that my user page has been nominated for speedy deletion due to a violation involving the upload of photos of a Twitch streamer to Wikimedia Commons, which I added to my page. I understand this was against policy, and I take full responsibility for my mistake.
- However, I believe that aside from the issue with the images, the rest of my user page does not violate any Wikipedia guidelines. I kindly ask if it would be possible to remove the problematic images instead of deleting the entire page. I assure you this will not happen again.
- Thank you for your time and understanding.
- Sincerely,
- @Xensheroizex Xensheroizex (talk) 16:53, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
- Seeing your behavior on Commons, the main issue is sockpuppetry and WP:WEBHOST. Yann (talk) 18:24, 11 February 2025 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for February 12
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Belle Gibson, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Australian. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:54, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
- @DPL bot ok, thanks for letting me know. Also should I revert it? Xensheroizex (talk) 17:13, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
Blocked as a sockpuppet
Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
With respect to your comment here: you are not permitted to create new accounts and resume editing. If you wish to return to editing here, your best option is to wait for six months without creating any socks and to then appeal your original block. Vanamonde93 (talk) 16:58, 14 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Vanamonde93 Excuse me, What is going on here…? Who added me to Wikipedia:sockpuppet investigations/Vidun Nethmira? I saw that you commented there that Xensheroizex Media is suspected as a sockpuppet of mine. Wrong! "Xensheroizex Media" is my username on Wikipedia commons. I'm pretty sure that I haven't done anything wrong but using Wikipedia as a web hosting
- site , according to @Yann. And the user @Whpq confirmed that I haven't used Wikipedia that way. My biggest question is, Who addes me to the sockpuppet investigation of this Vidun guy. I won't reveal my real name but, I have to ask is it because he is also from Sri Lanka? You should know that there are a LOT of Sri Lankan editors on Wikipedia.
- I'm pretty sure you guys made a mistake. And please read WP:BRICKS as well. Editors make simple mistakes, and you should warn them instead of blocking them straight away. Check my edit history for example. I haven't violated Wikipedia policies or Wikipedia commons guidelines since user @Yann warned me. Xensheroizex (talk) 07:55, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
- You are blocked because technical and behavioral data make it very clear this account, IchLander-Roveria, and VidunOriginalezLK are operated by the same person. Since those accounts were blocked you are not permitted to return to editing with a new account. Xensheroizex Media is blocked for the same reason. Using that account alongside Xensheroizex would be fine, but since you are evading previous blocks, neither new account is permitted. At this point your best option is the standard offer, as I stated above. Vanamonde93 (talk) 18:28, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Vanamonde93 Ok, I'll do it as WP:SO. But could any of you please remove the real name in Wikipedia:sockpuppet investigations/Vidun Nethmira ? it reveals the identity of the user and it's your responsibility to protect users' privacy. Xensheroizex (talk) 02:57, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
- When a user registers a username there is very little we can do about erasing that history. In your case it would mean handling the history of the SPI page as well as the userpage of every sock you have created, and as such it's very hard to justify. Please note that policy in general does not treat current usernames as private information. Vanamonde93 (talk) 03:53, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
