Graeme Montgomery archive

Hi there, I added a couple paragraphs to Graeme Montgomery's Wiki page. Graeme is a colleague of mine and even though it's phrased in a funny way, all I said is indeed true. Here is a link to confirm he is the commercial manager of ITBuilder - https://www.itbuilder.co.uk/blog/author/graeme-montgomery

Can we get this reinstated today please? 157.231.127.193 (talk) 10:46, 3 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! You're welcome to add content to the article, but you need to ensure that all statements are backed by citations to reliable sources and that your additions are written in an encylopedic tone. Given that you know the article's subject, you should also be aware that Wikipedia discourages editing an article where you have a potential conflict of interest. You could consider suggesting your changes on the article's talk page and providing sources for the content you wish to add. Hope that helps. MCE89 (talk) 10:55, 3 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay that's understandable. I'll post this again in a more encyclopedic way whilst also pasting the link above in the related links to provide authenticity. Thanks for your help. 157.231.127.193 (talk) 11:18, 3 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

3RR

Hi MCE89. You recently made four reverts to Palestinian Arabic with edit summaries saying "unsourced" and "unconstructive". While those are fine reasons for making one revert, they are not sufficient reason to violate the rule against performing more than 3 reverts on an article within 24 hours (WP:3RR). There are limited exceptions, including for obvious vandalism, but if you are asserting an exception you should do so in your edit summary. Please be careful, as first violations of this rule (after a warning) usually result in being blocked for at least 24 hours. JensonSL (SilverLocust) 12:22, 3 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies, thank you for the reminder! I must have lost track while patrolling recent changes and didn't realise that was the same page where I had performed those reverts a few hours earlier. Thanks for letting me know and will definitely be more careful in future! MCE89 (talk) 12:44, 3 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
