How would you go about finding sources for conspiracy theories?

like how would you find sources that dont like promote the conspiracy theory? cuz theres hundreds of comments on various sites claiming churchill and the like were all jewish.. but can you really use that as sources?

sorry this is just.. a really wierd thing to try and get a source for because... who really gives them the time of day to make a article talking about the conspiracy... and for them not to be nuts and actually believe it... or can you use them?

sorry i just dont really know how you go about getting sources for something not true HCPM (talk) 07:16, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

HCPM there is a lot of academic research on conspiracy theories. Start with a Google Scholar search of the general topic you want to write about (for example "Jewish conspiracy" will get you a lot of results for the topic you were editing about). Use these sources to expand the article. Be cautious when looking for sources to validate a specific piece of information, because that can lead to cherry picking. About My Articels (Sayfo)

Hey I have a question why do you want to delete my articles I entered several sources? Canoooo.4 (talk) 15:14, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Canoooo.4 It's not enough to have several sources if they don't have substantial coverage of the subject, and it does no one any good to start a new article when an existing one has more information on the subject. In general, it's always a good idea to improve existing articles, and only create a new one if it's necessary. (t · c) buidhe 22:12, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I think the evidence of this war is only the victory of the Kurdish rebels This war needs further investigation. I hope you can help with this issue Dawbak (talk) 16:24, 23 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I'm very skeptical about the article title, and the scope, but it does seem to refer to real events that aren't covered elsewhere. (t · c) buidhe 23:06, 23 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You are right, but the evidence says something else and indicates that the Kurds have succeeded in the invasion and massacre Dawbak (talk) 07:54, 24 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Dawbak if the article's content isn't supported by the sources, I would recommend starting a request for deletion and explain why—in that case it's called wp:original research and I would be happy to support the deletion. (t · c) buidhe 13:15, 24 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It would be great to have a well researched article about 1918–1919 intercommunal violence in West Azerbaijan but this article is certainly not that. (t · c) buidhe 13:23, 24 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
My brother, this war has been edited in Wikipedia. It needs to be revised. Initially, it was written that the Kurds won, but this war has been edited Dawbak (talk) 16:33, 24 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Norse Peak

On 6 March 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Norse Peak, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Norse Peak (pictured) is the namesake of a wilderness area, a wildfire, and a fleece jacket? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Norse Peak. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Norse Peak), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
