Bostwick II a national certified instructor and owner of Armstrong Armed Security knows for a fact that a well-trained security officer performs their duties in safer and more professional manner then an untrained one. Therefore I believe depending on his post and what their required to carry they should obtain the proper certifications in order to carry their equipment that way they will be competent in the use of it, so therefore such security officers should seek out competent instructors such as myself in the areas they need training. Possible such areas of training could be but not limited to tactical handcuffing, which covers the proper way to handcuff a person and remove the handcuffs, so you have the least likely chance of your security officers getting hurt or hurting the person that they handcuffed and which comes in handy in preventing lawsuits. Other training includes the proper use of the collapsible baton and weapons retention and disarming techniques along with pressure point control tactics training. All of these are PPCT certifications along with OC Mace survival training which that one is a TCTI certification and NRA pistol. I also train security officers in American Red Cross first aid, CPR, AED, adult, child and infant.
