The family of HRH Duli Pengiran Temenggong Pengiran Mohamed kindly requests the reinstatement of HRH’s official portrait. It is a historic photograph that they believe will serve a better purpose for the understanding of Brunei’s post-war history if it was put in the public domain. Pengiran Temenggong

Hello Asterios6231, I hope you are doing well. Your edits on Pengiran Temenggong have caught my attention and I would like to collaborate with you to see how this article could be improved. Let me know your thoughts. Pangalau (talk) 05:24, 14 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I would love to. Al-Marhum was my grandfather and I can access the family’s archives to help you with your article. Asterios6231 (talk) 04:03, 17 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Could you compile the information about Al-Marhum into a Google Drive folder? If possible, please include a book, article, or document as well. Additionally, I am looking for any extra photographs of him. Many thanks! Pangalau (talk) 05:37, 17 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Access to the archives would need consent from the Administrator of Al-Marhum’s estate.
The information that I can divulge which needs to be corrected from your initial write up are:
1. Al-Marhum had a wife who is a Pengiran Peranakan (grand-daughter of Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Daud), Pengiran Anak Mariam binti Pengiran Menuddin and had issue: Dk Mas Miri (d. 1943) and Al-Marhum YAM Pengiran Anak Hj Mohammad Ali
2. Al-Marhum did not have a son called Pengiran Ibrahim.
3. It would be better to separate him from the House of Bolkiah as the dynasty the family is from has its own distinct history including several notable figures in Bruneian Politics and nobility (just a suggestion) Asterios6231 (talk) 03:43, 21 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As you know, I cannot include any information based on your personal research, and it needs to be properly cited. I will try to find the sources, but do let me know whether there are other reliable sources out there (not blogs). Do try to contact the administrator of Al-Marhum’s estate if you want to try to include more information. Pangalau (talk) 04:16, 21 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I now have time to work on Pengiran Temenggong's article. Could you let me know where the image of him that you uploaded can be found—whether in a book or a newspaper? We can discuss this privately using my email, which is available in the left sidebar on my user page. Pangalau (talk) 11:37, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The family has denied your request to access our archives. We take great offense in your removal of YM Pengiran Mariam binti Pengiran Menuddin and Al-Marhum’s issue from this marriage. Please rectify. Asterios6231 (talk) 23:58, 14 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I understand how you feel, but you already know the Wikipedia policy on this matter. Without a reliable source, the information cannot be included. As the creator of this Wiki page, I am responsible for its upkeep. No offence intended. Pangalau (talk) 01:37, 15 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
