Duedil

Please stop adding external links to "duedil" - the source is inferior to both bloomberg and reuters stock pages.

Repeated additions such as these of limited utility may be considered spam. Please stop.Oranjblud (talk) 14:03, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think you should research further before rushing to such a judgement. Bloomberg and Reuters do not show group structure, full historical accounts, all company directors, social media, investments, litigations, or downloadable aI think you should research further before rushing to such a judgement. Bloomberg and Reuters do not show group subsidiary structure, full historical accounts dating back 20+ years, all company directors, linking these directorships with their social media accounts at times, the company's current investments, litigations, as but some examples. If you search for Companies House in the uk on Google, Duedil is recognised as second only to the registrar, and publishes all their information for free. Duedil is an eminently useful resource for following British companies and receiving updates on company status changes, and is far more useful to the professional, manager, or business owner looking to conduct company research.Arclad (talk) 10:44, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That's a hearty recommendation. Nevertheless, it a company founded in 2009, a content agreegator, and presenting limited information http://www.duedil.com/company/03564138/anglo-american-plc without signing up.
Still spam. Sorry. Any connection to the comapny? If so please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.Oranjblud (talk) 21:57, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have found the site extremely useful, that is all. Age has no bearing on the legitimacy or value of information, and Duedil is no more a content aggregator than the other sources you mention, that build upon regulatory and official data. Spam is content that has no benefit, and there is a lot of benefit to be gained from this site.Arclad (talk) 12:08, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm concerned that you intend to start adding this link to every relavent page - eg starting at A and finishing with Z. That would be spam (whether useful or not), and would be a waste of your time. People are able to use google search etc.. I would recommend only adding links to the external links when it contains specific information relavent to the page - eg human created essays, books etc.

We can all find good content aggregators - but adding them is discouraged.Oranjblud (talk) 18:23, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
