Welcome to Wikipedia, and comments on reverted edits.

Greetings. I have reverted your changes to the article on Dean Acheson several times, but you keep restoring them. Perhaps you aren't familiar with reviewing edit history if you are new to Wikipedia. I've provided the rationale for reversion each time, but in short, your edits contain serious grammatical and syntactical errors, and on that basis, are not an improvement of the article - and are not ready to be published. I assume you may not be a native english speaker. On that basis, it would be wise to instead publish your desired edits on the article talk page, then ask for assistance in repairing the grammar before it is published in the public encyclopedia. Your edits also tend to contain unnecessary changes to small details in the article, for example parsing the location of his birth- and death-dates in an overly general way, rather than keeping them specific (the reader can follow the wikilinks to get more general information), or changing the ordering in a sentence when it also does not improve the content. Edits should make meaningful improvements - and every edit should be accompanied by an edit summary that explains the nature of the edits. cheers. anastrophe, an editor he is. 18:34, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
