Work with others
I have started a discussion on the talk page for Logitech. Please join the discussion there. You are already in violation of 3RR. Wikipedia is a collaborative medium. We need to work together to find a satisfactory solution. cheers. anastrophe, an editor he is. 19:34, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Anastrophe Stop adding incorrect information. Logitechs own website states they are a Swiss company. Since when does correcting bad information and removing poor reference material constitute violation? Utterly appalling. 143.58.231.123 (talk) 19:36, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
- I'm going to contact Logitech directly and ask for clarification on this matter. Further to that, I shan't bother trying to improve the accuracy of this site going forward. 143.58.231.123 (talk) 19:38, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
- Repeatedly reverting to your preferred version is a violation of wikipedia policies. I would recommend that you familiarize yourself with them. I have reverted you, as have others. Working collaboratively is necessary. Companies routinely glorify themselves and their history, and are often guilty of historical revisionism (see history of Coca use in "Coca-Cola", and the corporate entity's refusal acknowledge that fact). I am not suggesting that is the case here, but one must approach all matters with pragmatic skepticism. Please participate on the talk page, where we can come to a satisfactory agreement - consensus is always desireable. cheers. anastrophe, an editor he is. 19:42, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Anastrophe That's exactly what you're doing, except yours is factually incorrect. Wikipedia is supposed to be an accurate repository of information for people, so constantly reverting to a version of an article with bad information and bad sources is frankly absurd. I corrected the issue and deleted the poor reference material. I cited why I had done this multiple times, and gave the company's own statement on their corporate website as my reason for doing so, and within minutes the bad information is back. Sorry, but if that's a violation and you or who/whatever it was changing it back isn't then your policy is hopelessly one sided and absurd. 143.58.231.123 (talk) 20:11, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
