EU Report on the 2008 Georgian War
the Eu report regarding the conflict explicitly states that gerogia provoked and incited the war against Russia. The reports of shelling from south ossetia were found to be false and not grounds for Georgian intervention. What is further egregious about the subject matter are the sources used to justify this claim- Radio FreeEuorpe, a literal CIA funded think tank known for spreading American propoganda, and several other citations directllt reporting and quoting Georgian Army claims that are disproven per the EU report. Wikipedia must have higher standards for accuracy than this, lest it become an American mouthpiece Thehazardcat (talk) 02:03, 2 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
yo leave your bum conspiracy theories to yourself and stop being a pro russian larp, the report said the attack was not justifiable it never said Georgia was the one sole provokator of the war, the armed conflicted started by georgia but it wasnt provoked by Georgia, the seperatist regions are russian proxies. the broader context if you acc read something informative literally talks about how built up the conflict over months, such as air space violations, military build up, support for seperatists, which all led to the war. in the report it also literally says russia violated international law an quote "went far beyond the reasonable limits" russia also lied and provided no evidence of Georgia genociding the ethnic ossetians. anyways, your larp failed Tetriani (talk) 08:26, 20 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
