Demographics section addition
Hello, all. I'm interested in adding demographics information to this election page. To specify, demographics on voter turnout regarding things like gender, age, income, race, etc. I have found a credible source, and was thinking of making fancy pie-charts to add somewhere in the results section. Please let me know if there is any feedback.

I've noticed a specific chart in every election page on 2008 or later. This chart shows how each state shifted politically. It would be great to have this chart for this election too. JosephTRobinsonGaming (talk) 21:52, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

In the last sentence of the introduction (untitled section that appears before "Background" section), it is stated that this election is the last in which the Republican ticket candidate won a majority of the popular election, "as of 2025.". This is a true statement, however, it required the clarification between "majority" and "plurality", a distinction probably lost on those with non math/science careers/pursuits. I propose the statement be removed here, most easily done by ending the last sentence end after "consecutive second term" and eliminating the citation. It simply doesn't belong here. The use of a citation here is inappropriate, as it doesn't cite anything other than an additional statement made by the author. The clarification was necessary for public readership. But a statement that is so nitpicky/pedantic as to require this clarification provided too little value to appear in the introduction. Also, as written today it violated the (unofficial, perhaps) prohibition on citations in introductory briefs. There is enough material on changing election outcome trends over the last three decades to warrant its own page. If someone we're to compile such a page, with or without the statement I wish to remove here, I fully support adding a link in the introduction. Dontfunkintellme (talk) 21:41, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{Edit semi-protected}}template. The distinction between a majority and a plurality will be readily understood by most readers; it doesn't require specialized technical knowledge. Also, that is an explanatory note, not a citation, and in any case there is no rule against using citations in the lead section of articles. Day Creature (talk) 07:46, 15 August 2025 (UTC)

Please change the table stating the electoral votes of swing states to correct the electoral vote count of Maine. It is currently states that Maine has 15 electoral votes, but the state has and had only 4. This is the table containing major pollster's ratings. The EV counts of Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey are also incorrect and must be updated to match their corresponding Wikipedia pages. This is not very difficult, as they are linked in the article. PottedPlantUnleashed (talk) 20:35, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
