I have added a cititation request because Chambers Biographical Dictionary says he was born in 1868. Chicheley 21:08, 20 June 2006 (UTC) I've added three citations for the birthdate. I guarantee that anyone who looks for Robert S. Abbott will be looking for his relationship with the Chicago Defender. The text says that the Defender was started with an investment of 25 cents, the equivalent of 600 dollars today. I don't think that either of these numbers is true.
