... that Muhammad al-Qunawi wrote a Turkish edition of Al-Khalili's tables (excerpt pictured) because, according to him, "some of our sons wanted, from this poor man, to learn about sine tables"? Source: "In the preface to his Tarjamah‐i jadāwil‐i āfāqī, Qunawī says “some of our sons wanted, from this poor man, to learn about sine tables; and so we translated this work into Turkish ...” (Fazlıoğlu 2007, p. 946)
ALT1:... that with tables prepared by Muhammad al-Qunawi, one can determine the time at night by observing the stars? Source: "One can simply observe a star reaching the last point instantly and also read its rise from a different table prepared by the author; one can enter solar longitude through the rise on the main table and determine the nighttime (Fazlıoğlu 2007, p. 946)"
New enough and long enough. QPQ present. References are inline placed (Harvard style) and show no issues. I have added one extra invoke of Fazlıoğlu 2007, p. 946, to meet the requirement for ALT1 more obviously. No textual issues. Proposed image is public domain. Good to go.
