I propose that Brittany Smith be merged into Matisse (singer). I think that the content in the Brittany Smith article can easily be explained in the context of Matisse (singer), and the Brittany Smith article is of a reasonable size in which the merging of Matisse (singer) will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned.Alanl (talk) 10:31, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is unknown when this began, but the biographies of Brit Smith have been confused and mixed up with the biographies of an actress born in 1985 named Brittany Alyse Smith. This is most likely because they are both born in 1985 and have the same name. Childhood photos on Brit Smith's social media prove that she is not the same Brittany Alyse Smith who acted in the 90s in such films as Pinocchio's Revenge and A Goofy Movie. These are two separate women and because of the strange mixup, and the fact that Brittany Alyse Smith seems to have withdrawn from acting and having any sort of public presence, practically all info about the actress online actually belongs to Brit Smith, the singer formerly known as Matisse.

The information on here needs to be fixed and updated to reflect this fact. Stop reverting the info back to incorrect info. Brit Smith/Matisse is NOT Brittany Alyse Smith, the actress from the 90s. I've tried my best to find any sort of social media presence from Brittany Alyse Smith, the 90s actress...but there seemingly is none (unless she has a different last name these days). Her IMDB page can be looked at though:

If(with no intent to attack or insult) the Brit Smith you're referring to isn't notable at all(by Wikipedia's guidelines), then the most face that people would think of when they think the name "Brit Smith" would be this article's subject.

If the Brit Smith you're referring to has enough coverage from news corporations to be notable, there would be an issue, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Here is the proof her birthday is on December 3, 1985. Reliable source Rotten Tomatoes says it https://www.rottentomatoes.com/celebrity/brit_smith The location she is born is EXACTLY the same as the one given in this article.

Rotten Tomatoes' claim is almost certainly a wikipedia echo. RT is reliable for reviews of TV/Movies, not for biographical info.
