Positive effects
The article should also mention the proven positive long-term effects of MODERATE alcohol consumption on the brain.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Robert Franks (talk • contribs) 14:40, 3 August 2013 (UTC)
Merge in "Alcohol-related brain damage"
I propose merging Alcohol-related brain damage into here. The articles overlap a lot, so I do not think it is worth having both articles. Regarding the merge direction, this page's title is more general - nobody would be surprised at a redirect from "brain damage" to "long-term effects on the brain", but the reverse might raise some eyebrows, and e.g. Frank above suggests there are positive long-term effects which should also be discussed. This article is 1k words and ARBD is ~2k, so the resulting article would still be relatively small. Mathnerd314159 (talk) 20:33, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
- Support Both articles small enough to be together. Further, they are remarkably similar and if I wanted to learn about one, I would want to learn about the other. JuxtaposedJacob (talk) | :) | he/him | 16:32, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
