Matt Murdock

Murdock should have his own page, considering his presence in the MCU timeline now. Frank Castle does. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.191.3.36 (talk) 05:40, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Support: Given his recent appearance and suggested plans in the future, I think we could separate him onto his own page. We could also do the same for Wilson Fisk, since he has also appeared in Hawkeye recently. Dark knight 2013 (talk) 09:38, 24 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support: Support. Characters of lesser import, renown and reception got their own pages. Also agree with Fisk. In fact, he DID have his own page until some champion decided to re-merge... --TheOrbFromDown (talk) 12:18, 24 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure why some people seem to be voting or something, but there is a draft located at Draft:Matt Murdock (Marvel Cinematic Universe). Anyone is welcome to help expand the draft so that it can be published. InfiniteNexus (talk) 05:02, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
there's that. although, dividing the biography per seasons is making the task endless (all marked with 'need expansion'); maybe it should be a condensed summary (like Draft:Otto Octavius (film character)). Cornerstonepicker (talk)

Discussion on Talk:Daredevil: Born Again

There is currently a discussion on Talk:Daredevil: Born Again regarding any characters from the Netflix series that may reappear on that series and have new actors. The discussion is here. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 21:35, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wilson Fisk

There should be a new page dedicated to the character of Kingpin. So far he has recently appeared in Hawkeye and Echo, with the latter being the most prominent. Considering his popularity, would it not be sensible to include a page for the character, similar to Matt Murdock? JEDIMASTER2008 (talk) 05:11, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Wilson Fisk (Marvel Cinematic Universe) currently exists. You are welcome to help work on it to make it eligible for the mainspace. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:05, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Adding Daredevil: Born Again characters

Is there any reason not to add these to this table? It would make sense to show the character continuations across the series in the same place. --woodensuperman 15:42, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's best to wait and see how Marvel decides to connect the show. Once it's aired, we'll have first-hand knowledge and can see if it is indeed a direct continuation, or if they decide again to change their mind. Gonnym (talk) 21:18, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Either way, it will still be beneficial to see the continuation of character appearances across the two series. I mean, even Vikings does this, even though there is barely a crossover of characters over the two iterations of the show! --woodensuperman 09:01, 28 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sometimes this is an option, but we previously decided to have separate character lists for the different Marvel Netflix series (Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, etc.) and they probably have as much crossover, if not more, than Born Again. My feeling is that we should note which characters continued on Born Again in prose but have separate tables and lists. - adamstom97 (talk) 09:30, 28 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There was also the thought before the creative overhaul and Marvel Studios embracing the Netflix series more, that any appearances of these characters in Born Again would be noted at Characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since they would now "properly" be in the MCU. I'm torn now that there is more of a direct connection between the series, and also knowing that Born Again will have a second season and likely could make its own characters list down the line. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 19:53, 28 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That's another MCU page not on my watchlist lol. I think it makes sense to continue that discussion about how to handle the OG Marvel TV character lists in general. - adamstom97 (talk) 19:57, 28 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see any issue with the Marvel Television lists. This series though is definitely an outlier. We could do a combo article like the Vikings one, but perhaps the best course of action is to revisit after season one has released. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 20:10, 28 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Per the comment I left at the MCU characters talk page, I think it makes sense to keep each list specific to its own series. If we get to the end of this season and there is a significant amount of crossover with this list then maybe it would make sense, but I would be very surprised if that happened based on what we know. - adamstom97 (talk) 20:38, 28 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I feel like the splitting of character plot fragments and other details across multiple articles isn't helping anyone. Not our readers and not our editors which need to maintain these separate lists with often duplicate information. At the very least, we should have long ago merge the Netflix character lists into one. Gonnym (talk) 21:40, 28 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
With the first two episodes having just aired and it clearly being a direct continuation of the show. It should be alright to add the Born Again cast to the cast table as well as adding the new Born Again characters to the characters list below right? Tribal-Mand0 (talk) 21:34, 5 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No. This is still be discussed. Outside of 7 "main" actors, plus one additional from Born Again episode 1, that to me doesn't feel like justification to fully integrate. We currently have vastly more characters so far that are 100% new. It would give the article undue weight. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 21:49, 5 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
My feeling based on the first two episodes is that it is more a new show with mostly new characters than it is a "season 4" of this show. Even some of those main characters are clearly not playing major roles in the new show. - adamstom97 (talk) 22:31, 5 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
