Date for Excavation announced
A BBC website report (link below) of 07 April 2017 announces that a 4-year excavation will start on 22 May 2017. "The project is being led by the Maritime Archaeology Sea Trust, Bournemouth University and the National Museum of the Royal Navy . . . ."

I edited this page to include a link to the associated National Heritage List for England (NHLE) record on behalf of Historic England who are responsible for the management of wrecks designated under the Protection of Wrecks Act 1973. The NHLE record includes further information related to the wreck. Also included were links to virtual and/or physical dive trails associated with this wreck.Phoebe MSDS (talk) 11:35, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
