The most informative site on the Web regarding Renewable energy in Armenia (www.renewableenergyarmenia.am) has been down for about 2 months now. It was developed by Danish Energy Management with funds from the European Union (in order to promote the growth of renewable energy harnessing along with the decommissioning of the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant). The site's content was given to the Armenian Ministry of Energy in December 2007 who had been hosting the site since then. I've contacted the Ministry of Energy several times to no avail. There is a possibility that the Danish Energy Management will release the information to me, in which I will host the site elsewhere.
The site documents the theoretical and practical hydroelectric, wind, solar, and geothermal power potential in the ROA.
Information on the Waste-to-Energy project at the Nubarashen landfill can be found at this Hetq Online article.Serouj (talk) 05:40, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
