Longest-running Cartoon Network series??
'Teen Titans Go!' has been running for over 10 years now, so isn't it the longest-running Cartoon Network series now? Kamo0606 (talk) 14:18, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
Odd sentence
"With over a 10-year run, Ed, Edd n Eddy would become the longest running standalone Cartoon Network original series until being surpassed by Teen Titans Go! in 2024"
Teen Titans Go isn't a standalone series (as is implied here) - it is a spin-off of the earlier series "Teen Titans". Clarification of this should be added. Either that, or the removal of the reference to TTG so there is no contradiction. 2.24.5.100 (talk) 08:47, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
- Removed "standalone" from lead. — Paper Luigi T • C 05:29, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
The November 9, 2009 date is wrong potentially, or misleading
Hi,
I watched this show back in the day when it aired and had the movie saved on my laptop in the summer of 2009, which is definitely before November. I believe the release date is referencing when the movie came out on DVD, as IMDB also backs up that the show released onto DVD in other countries BEFORE the November 9th date.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1232047/releaseinfo/?ref_=tt_dt_rdat <-- see the release dates
The thing that's interesting is that the copyright on the movie was given on November 8, 2009.
My guess is that the movie may have released on DVD in other countries and I had access to a copy of the movie before it aired on Cartoon Network? So, if thats the case, should the other release dates be noted on the page? 2603:6011:4200:6D9D:78E2:56D4:EA55:2078 (talk) 07:09, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
- I have never seen any evidence of an official physical release. The movie did air in Australia before the US 2A0A:EF40:287:3601:8113:A629:34AE:A1DF (talk) 13:26, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
- I agree with the above poster that there is no official physical release of the movie and that it aired in other countries before it aired in the United States. I'd also like to point the OP to this discussion from around the time of the movie's international release for clarification that it did air in Denmark before it aired in the United States. As someone who was around then, I can say that this movie was available online at the time in pirated form before the November 8, 2009, premiere date. — Paper Luigi T • C 07:09, 26 February 2025 (UTC)
