Approval rating
@Rexxx7777: I don't see where the cited source (the Buffalo News article) says anything about Eisenhower's approval ratings ranging from the high 50's to the high 70's. All it says is about the average of 63. Where are you getting the range? Do we need to be citing some other source?
Assuming these are legitimate numbers, it's not correct to hyphenate them in this context. "High-50's" is correct if it's being used as an adjective, but since you are using it as a noun phrase, "High" is an adjective modifying the noun "50's", and "High 50's" is correct. Sorry, I was just going off what I saw on the official Gallup site. I changed the wording to "consistently above the 50 percent mark" and added a source for that. Rexxx7777 (talk) 23:13, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The word “former” should be replaced with “Former” in the below sentence describing Eisenhower’s death: “The president and First Lady, Richard and Pat Nixon, attended, as did former president Lyndon B. Johnson. former President Harry S. Truman was unable to attend due to having vacation.” 102.223.59.123 (talk) 08:37, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
When it says "historians rank him in the upper tier of presidents", what the hell is that supposed to mean? Anybody who's above above average? The Top 10? The top 5? I made an edit to clarify what that means, but I was reverted. Can I get a consensus for clarification on what "upper tier" means for Ike: significantly above average, but out of the Top 4? (Most rankings place him between 6th and 10th) pbp17:24, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
How Ike Led by Susan Eisenhower (Ike's Granddaughter)
I am a new editor of Wikipedia focused only on suggested copy edits. That said, I have just finished Susan Eisenhour's book How Ike Led. I found it interesting and perhaps useful for some. I'd like to add it to the General Sources list for Ike's page, but I was not clear to me how I would do it. Any help would be appreciated. thanks Tchwell (talk) 14:03, 11 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
