Could you move the Personal life section to the top, given it mostly includes information that chronologically goes there? When I read that her father took her to Ventura, California, I wanted to know how close to home that was, but I had to go all the way to the bottom to find out where she was from.
"..after playing basketball, skateboarding, soccer and studying karate.." I'm not keen on the construction here, because "playing skateboarding" seems odd to me. How about "..after skateboarding, playing basketball and soccer, and studying karate.."?
