Charles III Days Reigned
Can someone update Charles III's days reigned? StrawWord298944 (talk) 08:52, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
- It's automated. DrKay (talk) 09:00, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
Royal Cypher
Similar to the list of Swedish monarchs article, can someone add each monarch's cypher to their row? StrawWord298944 (talk) 01:03, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
Merging 3 Pages
Idk if this was discussed but why aren't the monarchs of Wessex, England, and Britain on the same page? GamerKlim9716 (talk) 13:50, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
- @GamerKlim9716: It has sort of been addressed in the intro to List of English monarchs. I think the gist is that the first "English" monarch, as such, is Alfred the Great (of Wessex). Scots are listed elsewhere List of Scottish monarchs. —GoldRingChip 21:27, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
Photo of King Charles
The photo from his coronation is kinda goofy looking. I'd love to see it replaced with the portrait just released for Armed Forces Day where he's in Field Marshall Uniform

- Better question is why have we broken from tradition on this page and not used a painting of some kind? 147.194.51.9 (talk) 20:19, 22 March 2025 (UTC)
- There may not be any free-use paintings of him, and the more recent they are the less likely they would be in the public domain. Celia Homeford (talk) 12:33, 24 March 2025 (UTC)

Images
Is there any consensus on changing the images of the monarchs? I don't think those images look any better in my opinion. They look obscure by the light and yellowness, which doesn't look appealing to the readers and doesn't match the shadowiness of lead images of the monarchs.
