The article should specify wether the girl was an actual child or just a teenager below the UK's age of consent. How old was she at the time of the alledged events.

The infobox follows the standard convention for footballers (and I think most sportspeople). If there's an end date on a player's time at a club (which there is for Sunderland) the player has left that club; if there's no end date (it says for example 2013–) then the players is still at the club. So the infobox as is states that he left Sunderland in 2016 (which he did). There's no need to put 'free agent' (particularly as it's not clear if he is - would he sign for a club if they offered him a deal tomorrow? I don't really know).
