Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Altan (band), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cáceres (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:49, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons. Thank you.--John (talk) 05:09, 13 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --John (talk) 05:11, 15 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Years of hard work

Hi. In this edit summary here you refer to "years of hard work". As you have only been a registered user of Wikipedia a few months, I wonder whose work you were referring to and how you were aware of it?

I also wonder if you know Wikipedia policy regarding those who create new accounts to avoid blocks?

I'm not in complete agreement with all of John's changes, but he has removed a great deal of fancruft and improved the overall state of the article. It's a pity you can't appreciate that. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 00:03, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you continue to restore unreferenced or poorly referenced material to an article on living people it is likely you will be blocked. Is this what you want to happen? I strongly recommend you raise your suggestions at Talk:Simple Minds. You would do well to consider Escape Orbit's point as well. --John (talk) 05:16, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
And on that point, are you Lurulu (talk · contribs)? --John (talk) 05:39, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I also came across your contributions today and I feel you are a sockpuppet of Lurulu (talk · contribs) trying to get around the block. You edit the exact same articles and have the MO, except for recreating articles deleted through AfD. You should address these concerns if they are not true, instead of continuing your edits. Why are you moving all the lede prose into the article body itself? And why just the Yes album articles? I don't understand your reasoning and I don't think you understand how Wikipedia articles are meant to be structured. All articles must have a lede which act as a summary of the entire article. Please stop with these edits. LowSelfEstidle (talk) 17:25, 8 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Do you really think your edits were relevant? And besides, how can you make such changes without discussing it on their talk pages? Surely some sort of consensus needs to be agreed upon, no? LowSelfEstidle (talk) 21:11, 8 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of List of Boy George concert and DJ tours

Hello HurluGumene,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged List of Boy George concert and DJ tours for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can , but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. KaraokeMac (talk) 21:33, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

3rr warning on 14 On Fire

You have made three reverts in a 24-hour period on 14 On Fire and any other revert to the article could result in being blocked from editing. Aspects (talk) 10:31, 17 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add external links to web pages hosting copyright violations, as you did to Jimi Hendrix. The site you linked is not authorized or licensed to provide access to copyrighted concert footage. If you have added such links elsewhere, please remove them. May 2014

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at 14 On Fire. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. — TheMadonnaMusicCN (talk, contribs) 07:30, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

HurluGumene, the continued edit warring will not be tolerated. Please follow WP:BRD; if you know your edits are disputed (by three independent editors in this case), stop making them until you gain consensus. If you continue this, you will be reported for edit warring and possibly blocked. --Spike Wilbury (talk) 20:01, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I see that you've already been blocked, but I'm notifying you that I reported you for edit warring here. --Spike Wilbury (talk) 20:36, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You're truly a jolly good old fellow, Spike_Wilbury. In some country, 70 years ago, you'd be very appreciated. HurluGumene (talk) 20:46, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring and personal attacks., as you did at 14 On Fire. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  → Call me Hahc21 20:27, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I didn't start this edit warring: TheMadonnaMusicCN did!!! My edits are reasonable. I was only trying to revert TheMadonnaMusicCN's unreasonable edits. Spike Wilbury, you should block him! Besides, which personal attacks? HurluGumene (talk) 20:39, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

There is no block exemption for edit-warring if you "weren't the one who started it". To be unblocked you must demonstrate that you understand the reason for the block and endeavour to change your behaviour to prevent further disruption; pointing fingers at others is never a valid unblock reason. Please read the Guide to Appealing Blocks for further instructions and advice. Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 22:56, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Edit summaries

Follow the simple rules and always provide an edit summary. Following the simple rules shows good faith. Edit's without explanation will often be reverted. -- 109.79.220.129 (talk) 22:14, 21 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
