The history of the Qutub Shahi was compiled for the period up to 1611 CE at the orders of Sultan Muhammad Qutub Shah after his succession to the Qutub Shahi throne. As per historical reference books such as "Land Marks of the Deccan" by Sri S.A.Bilgrami and others, Sultan Muhammed Qutub Shah who succeeded his father-in-law in 1611 CE, had a great dislike for his mother-in-law Hyder Mahal.
