Ömer Akın (June 30, 1946 – March 13, 2020) was an architect, researcher, and educator.[1] He taught at the School of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University from 1977 until he retired in 2017.[1]

Akin designed the Turkish Nationality Room at the University of Pittsburgh.[2]
