Biography
Mubarak Qazi was born in 1956 in Pasni, Balochistan. He was the son of Kahuda Amaanullah. Qazi produced over 10 collections of poetry books.
His poetry, which often challenged the status quo, led to his arrest in 2007. He spent eight months in Turbat jail for his radical and defiant expressions.
In 2014, Qazi faced a personal tragedy when his son, Kambar Mubarak, who was affiliated with a radical separatist outfit, was killed in an "armed clash".[9] Qazi died on 16 September 2023.
