Luca Manolache (17 May 2005 – 28 February 2025) was a Romanian football midfielder that played for FCSB, Chindia Targoviste and Metaloglobus Bucuresti.

Career

Being a promising youth player with appearances for Romania at junior level, he was soon signed by Romanian giants FCSB, for which he played 1 senior match and several youth matches, before being loaned to Liga II teams to gain experience.[1]

Death

Manolache died from an apparent heart attack on 28 February 2025, at age 19. He had been ill for some months prior, with no clear diagnosis, and was not training or playing.[2]
