Kyle Thomas Clow, known professionally as Grip is an American rapper from Eastside Atlanta, Georgia. He signed with Eminem's Shady Records, an imprint of Interscope Records in 2021; the labels released his second album and major label debut, I Died for This!? that same year, which featured appearances from Eminem, Kenny Mason, and Wiley From Atlanta.[1]

Career

In July 2021, Eminem listened to Grip's second album Snubnose. Eminem said: "It was really refreshing to hear a new artist so focused on making a conceptual project and it caught my attention."[2] The two artists met up and conversed about a record deal for Clow to join on Eminem's label Shady Records. Grip announced his third studio album, and the first under Shady Records, titled I Died for This!?, which was released in August 27, 2021.[2]
