Geraldo João Martins is a Bissau-Guinean economist and politician who served as the prime minister of Guinea-Bissau from 8 August to 21 December 2023.[1][2] He was minister of economy and finance in several cabinets (including the one of Prime Minister Domingos Simões Pereira)[3][4] from 2014 to 2015, from 2015 to 2016 and from 2019[5] to 2020.

Education

Martins has a law degree from the Bissau Law School. He earned a master's degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of London.[citation needed]
