Summary

Description
English: Reticulite from Kilauea volcano in Hawaii, USA. It is solidified lava that was erupted by a lava fountain at Kilauea's East Rift Zone. Reticulite is also known as thread-lace scoria. It is greenish-brown, highly vesiculated basaltic glass (sideromelane) and it has a complex three-dimensional honeycomb structure. This sample is 18 millimetres across.
