The image, on the reverse side, bears text describing the event shown and rubber stamp impressions "RECEIVED Sep 8 1920" with the 0 hand-corrected to a 1, and" LAST TIME USED DEC 18 1921", which demonstrates pre-1923 publication in the periodical whose files the photo in the Hall of Fame's possession came from. Original photo, with markings on back, available at National Baseball Hall of Fame Library, Cooperstown, N.Y., image folders for Landis, Kenesaw Mountain. The uploader retains a photocopy of the markings on the reverse of the photo, which can be uploaded if there is ever a need.
