Description
English: The statue of the Hindu goddess Kali or Durga from Tanjung Priok, North coast of Jakarta, Indonesia. This granite statue was found in the eastern part of Tanjung Priok in 1883. Measured a height 65 cm in crossed-leg sitting position with four arms. Probably related to Hindu sage (Rsi) community in the area. Possibly originated from 7th-8th century CE. Jakarta History Museum.
Bahasa Indonesia: Patung dewi Kali atau Durga dari Tanjung Priok, pantai utara Jakarta, Indonesia. Patung granit ini ditemukan di Tanjung Priok bagian timur pada tahun 1883. Berukuran tinggi 65 cm dalam posisi duduk bersila dengan empat tangan. Kemungkinan ada kaitannya dengan komunitas orang bijak Hindu (Rsi) di daerah tersebut. Kemungkinan berasal dari abad ke 7-8 Masehi. Koleksi Museum Sejarah Jakarta.
