Daniel Cummings (born 14 April 2006) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a forward for Celtic.
Club career
Cummings is a youth product of Celtic, where he first was a standout in the youth teams.[1]
During the 2022—23 season he made his breakthrough in the Lowland League Celtic B team, where he established himself as a prolific goalscorer the following season.[1]
In May 2023, he scored the decider in a 6-5 win against Rangers in the Scottish Youth Cup final.[2]
He started the 2024—25 season averaging more than a goal per game with the B team[3] and also standing in the Youth League, as he scored a brace to open the score against Slovan Bratislava, helping his team to a 4-0 opening win in the competition.[4][5]
Daniel made his competitive debut for Celtic in the UEFA Champions League against Aston Villa when he came on as late substitute.[6]
International career
Cummings is a youth international for Scotland,[5] having played for the under-17 team in 2023, as he helped them qualify for the 2023 European Championship.[7][deprecated source]
