Chicoasén is a town and municipality in the Mexican state of Chiapas in southern Mexico. It covers an area of 82 km².

As of 2010, the municipality had a total population of 5,018,[1] up from 3,346 as of 2005.[2]

As of 2010, the town of Chicoasén had a population of 3,343.[1] Other than the town of Chicoasén, the municipality had 23 localities, none of which had a population over 1,000.[1]
