Blue River is an unincorporated community in Polk Township, Washington County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.[1]
History
A post office was established at Blue River in 1873, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1904.[2]

Blue River is located at 38°31′48″N 85°56′22″W / 38.53000°N 85.93944°W.
