The result was keep. This needs cleaning up, but a look through sources sees that he is a member of a notable music duo and has played around Europe as well as his other activities. Enough to be going on with, I think. Black Kite 23:32, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WeakKeep - Although, the article is not referenced(and is in a poor state), I searched Google news, and came up with numerous references for this guy. It looks like he has been covered by multiple sources, and has done reviews and interviews for NPR. However, the article - as it stands - is clearly not in a neutral state, and has been written mostly by the man himself(Markjenkinsmusic). If the article can be cleaned up, made to sound less like a resume, and referenced properly, I would support its inclusion. Additionally, I was originally on the side of deleting this article(until I did some research on the subject).WackoJackO 03:55, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]- Your "numerous references" link, links back to editing this page. - Sorry about that, had the wrong link copied to the clipboard, it has been corrected (thanks for the heads-up!)WackoJackO 04:32, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep and cleanup. AfD is not the place for notable, RS'ed, content to receive requests for better wiki-style content. Ronabop (talk)
- Umm....I didn't come here for a better article, I didn't think he is a notable DJ. CTJF83Talk 08:21, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Ctjf83, just out of curiosity, do you still hold that view(after looking over the sources, etc)?WackoJackO 08:27, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- What sources? On the page I see 1 link to a book, 1 to a Planetarium, and one to a myspace page? How are those sources??? CTJF83Talk 08:39, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- These sources , the article obviously needs to be cleaned up, and proper sources added.WackoJackO 08:44, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I have seen this too many times. Somebody types in the articles name in Google news or Google scholar and gets a couple of hits. He or she therefore proclaims that there are numerous sources for this article without ever checking the sources themselves. As far as I can tell these "sources" are reviews by Mark Jenkins of other bands. Those cannot be used for a biography of Mark Jenkins. I therefore challenge you to find just one of these numerous sources to use in the article. --Maitch (talk) 18:21, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Many of them are reviews/articles he has done for mainstream news organizations(such as NPR, The Washington Post, and other notable news organizations).WackoJackO 08:46, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- here are some sources that are not reviews by him.
- You still don't get me. I wasn't asking for another google test. Find one source and use in the article. --Maitch (talk) 10:54, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Here's a couple [1] and [2]. Also, like I have said, he has written a large amount of articles and reviews for NPR, The Washington Post, and other media entities.WackoJackO 12:04, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
