WSEB (91.3 FM) is a non-commercial, listener-supported radio station broadcasting a Christian talk and teaching radio format. Licensed to Englewood, Florida, it serves the Venice, Port Charlotte, and Sarasota areas of the Gulf Coast of Florida. The station is owned by the Suncoast Educational Broadcasting Corporation with studios on West Dearborn Street in Englewood. It signed on the air in May 1989 .[2]
Most programs feature national religious leaders, including James Dobson, Jim Daly, Chuck Swindoll, Adrian Rogers, John MacArthur, David Jeremiah, Charles Stanley and J. Vernon McGee. The station also plays blocks of Southern Gospel music. It seeks donations on the air and on its website.
WSEB is a Class C1 FM station. It has an effective radiated power of 62,000 watts horizontal polarization and 60,000 watts vertical polarization. The transmitter is near Rotonda West, in Charlotte County.
